Mac Miller’s cause of death revealed as mixed drug toxicity

Ariana Grande’s ex boyfriend Mac Miller died a few weeks ago and now his autopsy results have been released.

It has been announced that the 26-year-old former rapper died of a drug overdose.

According to TMZ, Mac Miller died of the lethal combination of Fentanyl, Alcohol and Cocaine. Residue of Cocaine were found at different places (on a dollar bill in his pocket, on his iPad) which showed that he had recently ingested the drug.

There was also an abrasion on his nose and blood was leaking out of one nostril when he was found.

His assistant found him laying in a praying position – kneeling forward with his face resting on his knees.

“Malcolm McCormick, the music artist known as Mac Miller, was found to have died from mixed drug toxicity, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner determined.

On Sept. 7, McCormick (DOB: 1/19/92) was discovered unresponsive in his home located in the 11600 block of Valleycrest Drive in Studio City. Authorities were called and McCormick was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:51 a.m.

On Sept. 8, an autopsy was performed and a cause of death was deferred pending further investigation. It was later determined McCormick died from mixed drug toxicity (fentanyl, cocaine and ethanol).”
