Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, who goes by the stage name, Reekado Banks, is currently stranded in another African country Gabon due to the current lockdown situation of the country.
The 26-year-old musician can not return to his home country, Nigeria. due to strict restrictions following the coronavirus pandemic and he is urging the Federal government to allow him entrance into the country.
The Nigerian musician took to his Instagram account to post a picture of himself smiling but went ahead to state that he is smiling like everything is okay but everything actually isn’t.
Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria, the Federal Government has closed all borders as well as placed some states under a 14-day lockdown. At present, the country has recorded a total number of 238 Covid-19 cases with 35 discharged patients and 5 coronavirus-related deaths.
“Smiling like everything is okay but deep down Gabon ti su mi. E ba mi shi border ejo,” the singer writes on his Instagram page.
