Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta spoke about her mental health struggles during an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
During the candid interview hosted by Oprah in Fort Lauderdale and tagged ‘2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus’, Lady Gaga revealed that a deposition triggered her “psychotic break”.
She also told Oprah that she’s battling chronic pain which she says is as a result of Fibromyalgia.
“Even sitting here with you today, I’m in head-to-toe pain,” she said.
She also spoke about being repeatedly raped at 19 by someone she knew, and never getting over the trauma so much that she developed PTSD.

After the interview, Oprah and Lady Gaga had a candid moment backstage where Oprah praised Gaga for her bravery.
“You were so brave,” she told her while the two women were close to tears. Gayle King was also backstage with them.
