Well, she has now added a new notch to her cap with her latest achievement. Her unique sound and constant hit songs have taken her to the top of the Billboard Christian Songwriters Chart.
This makes her the first black person and the first person from Africa to achieve this feat. Her 2016 hit song recently gained massive worldwide popularity following performances by The Elevation Worship and other similar Christian bands.
Other versions of the song were performed by Leeland and Michael W. Smith featuring Vanessa Campagna and Madelyn Berry. These covers helped shoot the song into the Billboard top 10 and finally to the top of the chart.
Sinach took to her Twitter page on Wednesday to share the wonderful news, writing:
“So apparently We have been No 1 on billboard USA for Christian song writer for 7 weeks !! Look at God!! First Black person [shocked]. First from Africa … So grateful to God!! Thank you @Billboard”
