The Lagos State Police Command after arresting Funke Akindele and hubby, JJC Skillz, over hosting a house party, irrespective of the lockdown order in Lagos, has arraigned the couple to court.
According to the Punch, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana said the actress has been taken to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba. The couple was arrested after a viral video from the party caused an uproar on social media, alerting the authorities.
The couple was subsequently arraigned before a Chief Magistrate’s Court in Ogba, Lagos State on Monday. They risk a jail term of one month or N100,000 fine or both if found guilty of the offence.
