D’banj’s rape accuser, Seyitan Babalola, has released an official press statement following her arrest.
In the press statement, she stated the events that had occurred since she came out with her story of alleged rape by the Koko master, D’banj whose real name is Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo.
Seyitan confirmed that she was unjustly arrested by police officers who gained access to her apartment by pretending to be delivery men and was detained for almost 48hours while being treated like a criminal.
She also alleged that she was released after signing a gag order by the police and the singer’s team.
Seyitan, who has now made a criminal complaint to the police, revealed that she was threatened by the singer and his team following her decision to come out with her story.
Seyitan went on to add that she has now gotten the services of a law firm in Abuja to handle her case. She also thanked those who rallied round to support her during the period.
Meanwhile, Dbanj recently took to his social media page to make a strong declaration about his innocence amidst the ongoing sexual abuse scandal surrounding him.
According to the singer, he is innocent until proven guilty.
Just waoh. If this statement was true, D’banj acted like a guilty man.
