Davido acknowledges how far he’s come in life as he shares a photo of him in his billionaire father’s office.
While acknowledging his school grades were “bad“, the If crooner lightly bragged about his and/or daddy’s billions. He didn’t specify.
He writes:
“10 years ago this conversation would have been about my bad result (Grades) in school NOW WE TALKIN BILLIONS AND FIXED DEPOSITS!! DADDY MI”

Davido is the younger son of Adedeji Adeleke, a billionaire businessman, who is also the founder and president of Adeleke University. One can see why the conversation would have been about Davido’s bad grades as his father obviously understands the importance of getting an education.
Davido’s ‘bad’ school grades may have prevented him from going to a top US university as he ended up at Oakwood University in Alabama. He dropped out of the Business Administration course at Oakwood to pursue his music career. There is no doubt he is doing well as he is one of the best known international Nigerian artists. He would later enrol in Babcock University Nigeria, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Second Class Upper degree in music. Chances are that his father, Adedeji Adeleke, while allowing him to pursue his music interests would have also encouraged him to complete his education.
Davido reportedly met his fiance Chioma at Babcock university. The two recently had their marriage introduction and are expected to wed sometime in 2020. Chioma, who is a chef, is also expected to feature in Davido’s upcoming studio album titled A Good Time. The album will drop later next month.
