After all, that’s not what African Giants do. During Angelique Kidjo’s acceptance speech, she acknowledged Burna and praised him as one of the African singers who is changing the way Africa is perceived around the world.
Burna Boy has now taken to Twitter to appreciate Angelique Kidjo for her comments about him and young artists in general.
He also reiterated his love for her and shared his love for fans and those who were rooting for him.
Recall that before the awards show, Nigerians took to Twitter to share their support for the singer, causing a multitude of words to trend including, ‘Burna’, ‘Grammys’, and ‘Burna Boy’.
He also hinted at something coming in 2020, and while we’re not sure of what it is, we know that it will be great.
