XXXTentacion’s mom shows off late rapper’s son, Gekyume, as his baby mama speaks up

XXXTentacion’s son, Gekyume was born seven months after the rapper’s death.

Shortly after his passing, his mother, Cleopatra Bernard revealed to his fans that he had a little bundle of joy on the way and she continued to give fans an update on the baby’s progress, and his name, without revealing the mother’s identity.

But the best part is that XXXTentacion’s mother has now revealed the baby’s face, in an Instagram post captioned “Prince Yume.”

Also, shortly before the baby’s birth last month, she had shared with fans that Jenesis Sanchez is the mother of XXXTentacion’s son.

Now, Jenesis Sanchez, the mother of the child, has revealed in a new interview the meaning of the name and how XXXTentacion came up with it in a new interview with Local 10 News. She explains how they came about picking their baby’s name, Gekyume and her relationship with XXXTentacion.

She revealed that XXXTentacion found out about her pregnancy two weeks before his passing and he had already made up names for their baby, choosing the name Gekyume for a boy and Xiorra for a girl.

She said he made up the names by picking up letters from the names of characters in his favourite video game.

“Gekyume means different state or next universe of thought. And yes, Jahseh picked out this name before he passed away. I know it’s kind of hard to say, Gekyume. So, he goes by Yume,” says Jenesis.
