Mike Smallcombe, a journalist and the author of Making Michael, said that he’s uncovered historic testimony by Robson’s mother that contradicts Robson’s allegations detailed in Leaving Neverland.
Smallcombe also claims that a part of Safechuck’s allegation is inconsistent with facts surrounding the construction of Jackson’s Neverland train station.
“These are two extremely detailed and key stories in the documentary – especially in the case of Wade Robson – which have been probably fabricated,” Smallcombe says.
Many prominent brands have been cancelling the famous dead singer, following the release of a documentary detailing reports of Michael Jackson’s involvement in paedophilia and sexual assault.
The two-part documentary, titled Leaving Neverland, which drew media attention after it premiered tells the alleged story of Jackson’s most outspoken sexual abuse accusers, James Safechuck and Wade Robson.
The Jackson estate has condemned HBO for their decision to air the film, calling it a “one-sided, sensationalist program.”
