According to Harper’s Bazaar, Doria, 62, has been staying with Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, since April 16 as they prepare for the birth of their first child.
A source close to the family claims Meghan’s mother is helping the couple settle into their new home in the grounds of Windsor Castle, and they are all “focused on family life”.
Doria, who works as a yoga teacher and social worker, left her home in Los Angeles last week to move to the UK so she can be there for the birth of her grandchild.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Like all mums, Doria wants to be there for her daughter at this seismic event in her life.”
Meghan also wanted to show off her new house to her mum and the two have been enjoying spending time together.
A source previously told Vanity Fair that Frogmore Cottage had been updated to include a nursery as well as a “mother-in-law suite” for Doria Ragland.
A source said at the time: “Doria plans to be around a lot when the baby arrives, and there are plans for her to have a dedicated space at their new home.
“She wants to be on hand to help Meghan and Harry with the baby. Doria will be involved and if she’s involved she will be encouraging Meg to go for a natural birth.”
Meghan’s father , on the other hand, is reportedly still frozen out by the Duchess but has sent his best wishes.
