Mayorga, a former model, came forward to accuse the footballer of raping her in a hotel room back in 2009. An out-of-court settlement had been reached but she filed a civil suit seeking to have the settlement voided.
Ronaldo’s lawyer has spoken out against the news, calling it “illegal”. Ronaldo has also addressed the news, calling it “fake news.”
According to him, it’s just an attempt to try to use his name to get famous.
