The Lagos State Government has banned all religious and social gathering of over 20 people as cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria hit 22.
The state government announced this on its Facebook page after 22 cases of coronavirus were recorded in the country on Saturday, 21st March 2020.
Before this latest development of 22 cases confirmed with the virus, the LASG had imposed restrictions on gatherings of over 50.
“The support and cooperation of Lagosians are what we appeal for, while we make conscious efforts to defeat this scourge.
“We would be announcing an economic stimulus plan after the State Executive Council meeting next week,” the state Governor writes on his Instagram page when he banned the gatherings of 50.
Now, the state government has also urged residents in the state to adhere to the new directive.
