According to Variety, Crews filed a lawsuit against agent Adam Venit and employer William Morris Endeavours, who he accused of grabbing his genitals at the event.
The Deadpool 2 actor, 49, claimed last year that he was sexually assaulted by a Hollywood agent while he was at a party with his wife in 2016.
He told the committee during his opening statement: “The assault lasted only minutes, but what he was effectively telling me while he held my genitals in his hand, was that he held the power. That he was in control.”
“This is how toxic masculinity permeates culture.”
After hearing of his testimony, 50 Cent mocked his sexual assault, suggesting the actor’s size could have prevented the alleged assault.
He posted a now-deleted picture of the actor sitting on the floor while shirtless which read “I got raped,” and, “My wife just watched.” Another picture showed Crews with a rose in his mouth and the words “Gym time”.
He added a caption that read: “LOL, What the f**k is going on out here man?”
“Terry: l froze in fear, they would have had to take me to jail. Get the strap.”
The posts were later deleted.
Shortly after, TMZ caught up with Crews and told the actor about the rapper’s posts.
“Well, I love 50 Cent. I listen to his music while I’m working out,” he replied.
When pressed again about what 50 Cent wrote and specifically “how big you are”, the actor responded: “I prove that size doesn’t matter when it comes to sexual assault.”
While Terry might have taken the high road, users on twitter didn’t take it lightly.
Crews is a standup guy mehn…classy response… 50 is just looking for attention…
