In the video, Falz addresses issues plaguing the country, from Fulani herdsmen, Chibok/Dapchi girls kidnap, internet fraud, police brutality (SARS), money laundering, social decadence, church politics and decadence, votes rigging and so much more.
The singer’s brilliance and his consistency in making this social-conscious music is nothing short of admirable. At the end of the video, Falz uses a voice-over speech by his father, lawyer and social activist, Femi Falana, to talk about Nigerian churches, their unscrupulous leadership and how they launder money from poor church members. Falz once again shows us that the apple doesn’t quite fall far from the tree.
The track was produced by Wande Thomas, and the video was directed by Prodigeezy.
