Having deleted old tweets, Kanye West started anew on Sunday with a remarkably on-brand, and predictably existentialist, messages.
Following a 24-hour break, he returned again on Tuesday with a string of aphorisms. In addition to his music, Kanye West announced on Twitter Wednesday that he is writing a philosophy book on the social media site in real time.
“No publisher or publicist will tell me what to put where or how many pages to write. This is not a financial opportunity this is an innate need to be expressive,” he declares.
“I will work on this book when I feel it. When We sit still in the mornings We get hit with so many ideas and so many things We want to express. When I read this tweet to myself I didn’t like how much I used the word ‘I’ so I changed the I’s to We’s,” Kanye West tweets.
In an interview with a Hollywood Reporter, West revealed his plans to release a philosophy book called Break the Simulation with his with his interior designer Axel Vervoordt.
The book will be about art and spirituality, it will focus on why the society loves photography. #CantWait
