So, Hush shared his experience on Instagram describing how he received a lot of negativity from commenters when about six months ago, he opined that people should not buy fake products.
“It doesn’t mean the message I was passing is wrong; it doesn’t mean I passed it wrongly; it’s just unfortunate that ‘my people’, who I am passing the message across to are a bunch of hypocrites,” he says.
However, according to him, fast forward six months later: same message, a different messenger and lo and behold, the message was well received among social media users.
He says: “Nigerians be like, true talk, that’s right, they should stop buying fakes and many support the motion and I took time to read several comments and I was amazed when I saw some popular IG figure bashing artists were against the same thing they supported just six months ago. I was shaking my head.
Hushpuppi shared the post on Instagram and as usual was sporting designer apparels, shoes and bag, this time Versace.
