Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian welcomes her back to professional tennis with gigantic billboards’ messages

What better way to proclaim your support to your wife than the use of gigantic billboards? And that was exactly what Alexis Ohanian, husband to iconic tennis star, Serena Williams did.

The Reddit co-founder publicly expressed his feelings for his wife as Williams returns to professional tennis, more than a year after she took a maternity recess from the game.

These just went up on alongside I-10 into Palm Springs. @olympiaohanian & I wanted to welcome her back to tennis. Designed them myself, with some help from Jr. #GMOAT“, the loved-up husband captures the images of the billboard, which he uploaded to his  Instagram account.

An emotional Williams in the comment section of the post replies, “literally am crying. This is so sweet. I love you.”

Williams and Ohanian got married last November, about two months after the 23 times Glam Slam winner gave birth to their child, a daughter named Alexis. She has not played professionally since winning the Australia Opening in January 2017. The tennis star would probably drive past the billboards on her way to the March BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California The tournament will be her first since the birth of her child.
