Nigerian-American science fiction writer, Nnedi Okorafor, has revealed the magazine illustration of one of her Marvel Black Panther comics, which hits the stand today.
Tweeting of the development, the Afrofuturism advocate says:
“The cover for the one-shot issue featuring the character of Ngozi. Written by me, illustrated by Tana Ford. Release date: February 28.”
Okorafor was contracted by Marvel last year to write a three-issue of Black Panther for the studio. She later told BBC that she based the character of the protagonist Ngozi on one of the kidnapped Chibok girls.
