It’s an important lesson that actress Caroline Danjuma (nee Ekanem) just gave to us all. To choose to see the beauty in everything, the positive in the negative” is surely something everyone may well strive for, no shame in that.
It probably won’t be easy especially when we deal with people who we feel might have hurt us. And unless one is restrained by love or some other strong emotions or desires, it’s a tough call. Humans are fraught with so much faults, some of them so terrible and unimaginable that the simple minded just has no way of comprehending it.
But, should we say because someone would die in a necessary war and not go to war? The answer of course is no if one wants to keep their freedom. So we just gonna give it our best shot, even when it’s hard. But you know what? The first step is the hardest and once we take that step, it becomes much easier.
So, we really love Caroline Danjuma for bringing this lesson home to us, because even when we know it, we tend to forget.
The actress shared a beautiful eulogy to celebrate her ex-husband, Musa Danjuma. The couple’s marriage collapse last year amidst allegations of infidelity. She shared the post on Friday, 15th-December on her Instagram page and notes that Danjuma has been a very good father to their three kids. She says she will always appreciate and respect her ex-husband, echoing a past sentiment she once shared.

@st_lilybeth: Today I will take out time to celebrate this man right here .. I choose to see the beauty in everything, the positive in the negative. To the best father in the world, my closest friend and our backbone for 11 years.
“Thank you for giving the kids the best of life, for always being there. I will always appreciate you and respect you.”May God keep you safe from harm and give you a long life. No one is perfect but I choose to see the beautiful.”
On behalf of the kids, we appreciate you unconditionally… You are the best dad in the world…#family #neverburnbridges. All hail the man who goes an extra mile for his children ??????.. #nothisbirthday #appreciationday.
This is not the first time that Caroline has publicly praised her ex-husband for being a good dad. In April 2016, even in the midst of the scandal of her mariage and media was buzzing with the news, the actress took to Instagram to defend her then husband.
The question is, I see beyond what you all see, I see a man who takes good care of our kids, a man who has supported me financially, yes he might not be the best husband but I appreciate him in every single way,” she wrote at the time.
“We might not be compatible as husband and wife but am blessed to have him in my life. Enough of calling him names because you are opportune to see him in odd places, enough of the pictures. Only God has the right to judge,” she added.
She’s got a great personality. Important lesson learnt.
Hmmm at least she didn’t say anything bad about the Man. That’s encouraging. Its not everything that happens in your house you write on social media. I love her maturity on this.
