A public statement indicates that a new sponsor for the game show has been found in the form of Airopay, a company involved in international money transfer and related financial services.


Airopay, the new sponsors of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, is a global international payments operator which “offers a secure, fast and inexpensive way to send and receive money via bank accounts and mobile wallets”.

In a message posted on social media, Ultimia Studios welcomed Airopay on board, saying: “We look forward to a great partnership with your team. #Signed&Sealed.”
At the time of going off the air in June, show host Frank Edoho posted a message on Instagram to announce that MTN has withdrawn from sponsorship of the TV programme.

A tweet from the official Twitter account of the programme suggests that Frank Edoho might be back to anchor the show, other, there was no definitive confirmation of that.
