Mercy Johnson Okojie, Nollywood actress and a Senior Special Assistant on entertainment, arts and culture to the Kogi State governor His Excellency Gov Yahaya Bello, is organising a talent hunt event for the youths of Kogi states. The actress says the initiative is her way of giving back to Kogi State. She also said the project is in line with the vision of the state government with regard to entertainment.
The project is open to Kogi State indigenes age 18and above. The search will begin on August 17, 2017 at the Civic Center in Okehi and continue on August 18 at the Idah Local Government hall, Idah.
On August 19, it would be done at the Theatre Arts Hall, Kogi State University, Ayingba. The last day of the search which is on the 21st of August is at Riverton hotel.

On the judges’ panel are Nollywood actors, Bimbo Akintola and Francis Duru as well as director, Frank Rajah.
